Hogan Hilling is a husband to wife, Tina, ( a speech/language Pathologist for the Irvine Unified School District) and father of three children. Grant (age 20) attends Pepperdine University and plays for the men's volleyball team. Wesley (18) who is disabled, diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, lives in Murrieta, California. Matthew (15) attends Mater Dei High School and plays for the boy's varsity volleyball team. Hilling and his family live in Newport Beach, California.

He has been a speaker at many parenting conferences such as the 1995 California Fatherhood Summit, At-Home Dads Convention, Lamaze International Conference, Northwest Area Childbirth Educators Conference and Childbirth Education Association of Orange County Conference.
